Booking Policies

**Updated policy due to COVID-19 virus**

Due to the global pandemic announcement in 2020 we have had to make a few changes.

Any bookings made prior to or during the COVID-19 virus pandemic will be treated as credit to the customer that may be used in the future.

Wine Legends has followed all  SA Health directions during this difficult time, we operate as a COVID accredited transport business.

With increased usage of vaccination passports and certificates we are mindful that some wine producers will only allow vaccinated guests in their premises.

We respect their decisions and ask that you allow us the time to brief businesses prior to visiting their establishments.

Reservations Policy

Any bookings for services to be performed by Wine Legends are considered a reservation when paid in full and confirmed by email from Wine Legends.

Any service or wine tour service booked online either directly or indirectly with a third party will only be reserved when confirmed in writing (by direct email).

Wine Legends cannot guarantee bookings for services to be performed less than seven (7) days prior to the day of reservation even if the booking is made on an online booking platform whether on this website or a third party website.

Reservations for services to be performed must be paid in full at the time of booking or within seven (7) days of the date of confirmed booking date.

Cancellation Policy

Wine Legends will provide a full refund of services to be provided in the following circumstances:

  • Compassionate grounds for tragic incidents involving immediate family members or spouse
  • Failure to provide a service by Wine Legends for any unforeseeable events out of Wine Legends control
  • Extreme weather conditions or natural disasters that would endanger participants

 

Wine Legends will not provide a refund for services to be provided in the following circumstances:

  • Failure to be ready to depart for the tour on time and/or in a fit state to be driven due to any illness not previously disclosed
  • Failing to clearly explaining the needs of any of the participants or by simply changing your decision once confirmed and prepaid
  • Insisting on having the service provided in a particular way against the advice of Wine Legends

Credit Policy

Wine Legends may, at their discretion, provide a credit for services in the following circumstances:

  • Illness declared within 24-48 hours of the start of a previously booked tour that is confirmed by a doctor’s certificate
  • Flight cancellations resulting in an inability to attend the point of departure on time
  • Extraordinary circumstances at the sole discretion of Wine Legends

 

Any credit for services to be provided that have been previously paid for must be used within 90 days of the original booking date.

Service Replacement Policy

Wine Legends may use third parties to replace part of or all of the services required to fulfil the itinerary of any tour.

 

Wine Legends cannot guarantee a wine producer’s availability at the time of booking and as such reserves the right to replace requested sections of the tour at any stage.
